Who isn’t a fan of white sauce pasta recipe? Well, I don’t know about you but I am a huge fan. I can have pasta all day every day. Its creamy sauce is satisfying and delicious, and is enough to make your day.
Also the sauce is rich in carbohydrates, calcium and protein. So if you are craving something cheesy, this is what you should make.
In today’s article, I am sharing white sauce pasta recipe that you can cook within 20 minutes.
So, let’s get started!
Preparation time – 5 minutes
Cook time – 20 minutes
Serves – 2
4 cubes of Butter
2 tablespoon of Vegetable oil
2 tablespoon of Chili flakes
2 tablespoon of Oregano
Salt to taste
1 small roughly chopped Onions
1 small roughly chopped Yellow Bell Peppers
1 small roughly chopped Red Bell Peppers
½ cup boiled Broccoli
¼ cup Baby corns
¼ cup Sweet Corns
White Sauce ——
2 & ½ tablespoon All Purpose Flour
1 cup Milk
½ cup Mozzarella Cheese (optional)
1 bowl Penne Pasta
Boil 1 cup of Penne pasta in 2 cups of water. Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon of salt to it. Let it boil until it’s soft. After boiling drain it and keep it aside.
Heat a sauce pan and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Now add 1 tablespoon of butter and melt it.
Add all the vegetables to the sauce pan and cook them for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of chilies, oregano and salt to taste. Give it all a good mix and take it out in a bowl and keep aside.
Step 4 – White Sauce
Now in the same sauce pan, add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil and 1& ½ tablespoon butter and let it melt. Take 2 & ½ tablespoon of all purpose flour and add it to the pan. Keep stirring and cook it until you smell the aroma.
Add milk slowly and keep stirring. Bring it to a boil and cook it until its thick. Add Mozzarella cheese, it’s completely option. You can skip it if you don’t want your sauce to be very rich.
Add ½ teaspoon chili flakes, oregano and salt to taste. Also add your veggies which you cooked earlier. Mix it well.
Add your boiled Penne pasta and cook it for another minute.
Take it out in a plate. Garnish it with cheese and broccoli, and serve hot!
